Rational and irrational values

Values are not an automatism for humans. We have to choose them. If we pick them with an irrational process (by faith, authority’s rules, family traditions, etc.), they won’t be good by default. Rational values are in accordance with life as the standard of value. Irrational values will go against one’s capacity to survive.
